Vinyl protection film vs repaint

Bought a 2018 Off Road Premium. It had less than 18,000 miles. Looks like they took it on a long trip, then it turned into a grocery getter. I live in Michigan and a lot of the two track is over grown. Should I go with a full wrap of vinyl or wait till later for a repaint?

Thanks for the info. I'll have to pick a design for next year.
