Hey guys. Had this hooked up in my last vehicle for about a year. Had it installed and uninstalled by best buy. Was gonna put in my runner but I've got a dumb chip key because I have a limited so I would need to spend another 300 to get it installed. I can send you pics if needed but its honestly just a bunch of wires, brain, and the 2 remotes. Everything is included like manual and viper sticker. Asking 150. Thanks for looking

Just had the 5901 installed in my 06 and they installed a module ($50) and no need for a key!! Was going to use the valet key but they did not need that!

I don't know the specific name of the module, but I also heard this (at bestbuy) when I spoke to the install geek. He said they do not need an extra key now and the module is an extra 50 plus the install cost.
Good chance I may grab this off you if you decide against keeping it after this news, lol.

I am interested... Will I need anything else to install this into my 99 4Runner...? (My intent is mainly to be able to lock and unlock my doors, with remote start)

Nope. As long as you don't have a chipped key then you should be set. I believe only the limited had them. I'm holding it for another member, pm me on Monday and it will either be available or sold.
