Voodoo Blue sitting unsold....hmmm

Only one dealership around here has had one sitting for a while, they don’t list the price online, but they do for every other 4Runner they have in stock so I imagine it’s high. Dealer down the street got a voodoo blue Tacoma in and it sat for less than a week. I don’t think the color is an issue, but it definitely isn’t for everyone. I wasn’t sure until I saw it in person and bought it immediately.

Whats this have to do with Blue

It has everything to do with slackening demand which reflected in the fact that dealers can no longer mark up the TRD Pro.

Just got my 19 Pro in Voodoo last month so I'll chime in. Seems like the pricing is more or less dealership dependent then? The folks I talked to here in SC said that they had mine for over a month with only 1-2 people looking at it, and they had white and red TRD Pros as well that didn't move.

I used to work for a dealership back when so I know the tricks and subtly made it clear that I knew the game, and after some back and forth, got the price reduced from the original sticker $48,500 down to $41000. They didn't even seem too bothered by it, just more or less happy to move it. After another 7,500 down and a 5k trade in, there's not much left to pay for.

I dont think these VooDoos are moving as fast as the other years special colors. There was one at my dealer unclaimed on arrival. Cavalry Blue is a hard act to follow :whipping2

There is a used voodoo blue for sale at a Chevy dealer in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Someone traded it with less than 550 miles on it. $47k.


Trading for a different color? Sure. Trading it for a Chevy? No.

when I was looking ones on the lot were gone within a day too two weeks. maybe now they are selling slow because of new 2020 but its not the color.
