You still haven't gotten the DTCs yet?
I found this buried in the FSM:
Short out the TC & CG terminals on the DLC3 and turn the vehicle Key On/Engine Off; the ABS lamp should blink in a pattern (i.e. 3 blinks... pause... 1 blink will indicate a DTC 31the patterns will indicate old school DTC numbers (2 digit codes similar to how old OBDI DTCs were set-up versus modern OBDII Alphanumeric DTCs) that we can use to figure out what the issue is.
If that seems a bit too complicated or you are having trouble I would recommend finding one of them cheapy Chinese TIS Techstreams online from like Amazon and using that on a laptop. But there isn't much we can do to help you without the DTCs, otherwise you'll need to check EVERY ABS/VSC/TRAC related circuit in the vehicle from the ECM, Instrument Cluster, Skid Control ECU, ect.

OK, I took the runner to the local independent shop I trust. The front right wheel abs sensor is shot. Labor's 70, part is $230, and not available until tomorrow. The whole deal will be $330. Sucks that the part is so pricey, but I looked and that is fair part pricing. There's cheaper brands, but I don't trust them. It's not worth "saving" 100 dollars if the part fails early. All trac, abs, and skid control lights will be reset. The timing is horrible, but it could've been worse.

I did mine myself with toyota parts from amazon.com for ~$100. ABS sensor and Rear harness. Unclipping the little guys that hold the wires took the longest. Maybe an hour total. 1 screwdriver. I have PN's if you need them.
Yeah, I looked at all the auto parts stores, the OEM one was 230 at best. Oh well. The wife picked it up on Friday, and on the way home, the vsc off and track came on. The shop was closed for the week at that point. I called the so, left a VM, and he called me back. I can drop it off tomorrow, and he'll make it right.
The abs light is off, that's a plus.
I watched the lights, and upon start-up, no lights are on. Put it in reverse or drive, let off the brake, and the track off and vsc lights pop on and stay on until I shut off the truck. Then the exact thing happens. Lights are off until I let off the brakes in a gear.
What's that mean?
Hopefully we find an answer on this thread. So, have you had to take yours in for emissions testing with this issue? I have to take mine in this week. I assume that since our emissions tests are done without the car driving any where, I should pass, right? That's my logic, and I battled getting my Audi to pass last year. Funny thing was that my check engine light came on about 2 days after I passed emissions. Good for 2 years around here.

I'm not due until November so I've got some time. I was getting CEL and the trac lights, now just the trac lights on the right with no CEL. I replaced an O2 sensor on the right side and then CEL went off but now still have the trac lights. I need to take it in at some point.
Well, poking around for answers on the internet, I will do these tomorrow. Check gas cap, and clean sealing surfaces, check brake pedal switch, and maybe clean it up with electronic cleaner. Beyond that, it sounds like it could be just needing the zero point calibration done again. Since I paid for the shop to turn all the lights off, if what I do doesn't fix it, I'm bringing it in for the shop to do as I paid for. If the emissions test place doesn't need to move the car, it should pass. I hope. They stupified the emissions tests here in SE Wisconsin. The obd readers we can buy at auto zone or any store are more powerful than what they have. They simply plug a obd reader in and it either passes, or fails due to any lights being on, or not ready yet, especially the evap test. That takes like 40 miles or so and an overnight sitting of the car with a cold restart. With my Audi test fun last year, I failed once due to the evap system not ready yet, even with no cel or any warning lights on. I sent back the next day, and earned a pass.
Well, that was easy and no more painful than I already saw. I brought it in today, and the so did a zero point calibration with the special service tool paper clip. All done, finally. The of thing was that the truck wouldn't take the zero point calibration with the Toyota software like the first method in the tsb. He had to go old school and use a paper clip. Odd, huh?

It's been about a year with some sort of light in the dash that wouldn't go away. The emissions test stations were closed when I picked up the runner, so I'll take car of that tomorrow.

I still haven't figured mine out. I've never had the ABS light come on, never had a problem with the ABS. Mine has passed emissions for 2 years with them on, trac control has nothing to do with emissions unless the CEL is on.

When shorting out the pins this is what they do. I couldn't see a pattern that I could could figure out (lack of sleep doesn't help I guess) but the airbag light and cruise control is also flashing (can't see it in the video though). Any of yall see what I'm not?

I believe the DTCs being output are [C0210/33- Right Rear Wheel Speed Malfunction] & [C0215/34- Left Rear Wheel Speed Malfunction] (the second number denotes the two digit DTC obtained via shorting the wires.) Have you had anything done to the rear recently that could have caused those DTCs?
I could be wrong on the codes, but that seems to be the pattern I keep seeing.

this video and this thread solved my lights (VSC and VSC trac ONLY). The battery reset doesn't do sh*t but this worked. Wish I had tried this months ago. Hopefully it works for you. No lights for two days.
