Here is your VSC Circuit with a switch taht you add

--------|_|----------- - make sense? the _ is the button on the switch, see how the circuit isn't connected because the switch is normally open.

Now, you depressed the switch

---------|-|--------- and the circuit is active

release the switch and you get --------|_|--------

so to have ------- and VSC on for DDing, you need to leave the switch pressed.

Yes, that makes sense, I meant the relay circuit. But with this, will I have an issue with the lights on the switch? And do I just use the wires I ran to my cheap switch to the leads on the OEM switch?

What do you mean? The illumination light? I would just wire those to the dash circuit, the bottom one is + IIRC and the one above it is -. Just tap the OEM switch for a + signal (its switched +)

I dont know what wires you used for your cheap swicth

I just cut the Red wire in the plug to the brake booster and added wires from each end to some cheap switch.

Yes, so instead you use the OEM VSC switch and leave it pressed in or wire it to a relay. You cheap switch works the same. The oem switch just has 4 poles - 2 of which are for the bulb and 2 of which - one is each side of that wire or one is +input and + out to the relay.

Yeah, sorry, it's a little different between 2 and 4wd versions. You need to close and open the wire (circuit) from the booster. 4wd is grounding a wire in the 4x computer....

I'm thinking of the easy way, because I already have that much wired up. The relay can always come in later. I don't have a switch yet, but I'm looking at the skid control switch from the sienna, I just haven't found whether or not it'll fit correctly, but I assume it should.

Well, the mod that I did is the exact same on 2- and 4WD trucks. The one you're doing is supposed to ONLY turn off VSC. The one I did is to turn off VSC ABS and TRAC. I assume, though, that the 2 mods are both very easy, and similar in wiring. I.E. mine, I cut a wire and put a switch to open/close circuit. yours, you splice the cable with another, and run the second to the switch in and a ground out to a factory ground point.

Either way, the same is essentially being accomplished, and therefore, it's no need to worry about changing it when I convert.
