Hello, this is my first post, and I see the vsc trac / trac off issue is very common. Here is my question - I just bought a 2003 4Runner. Runs great, really like the vehicle. When I start the vehicle, there are no lights on the dash. When I place my foot on the brake, no lights on the dash. When I shift from park to drive, no lights on the dash. Its only when I start to remove my foot from the brake (and the vehicle starts to move) do the VSC trac / trac off lights come on. When I put the car into park, they remain on. I took the car to the Toyota dealership yesterday and they checked everything out and said that they couldn't find anything wrong. I said, "well, the tech ISN'T going to see anything wrong because he didn't drive the vehicle, all he did is start the vehicle and put it up on the hoist". Why do the lights come on only when the vehicle starts to move? Thanks, and sorry if I sound at all ignorant!
