what size are your hanma lights on your bumper?

They were the normal 2x2 pods from the group buy [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] headed. He would definitely know the exact specs over me. Personally I just love how they filled in the spot as the lights that come with the bumper are notorious for being garbage.

man that looks great. I have almost the exact same thing you used to have. a navy blue 2008 SR5. plastidipped stock wheels and 275 goodyear wranglers. I just cracked my stock bumper and like that shrocksworks one. i might have a very similar looking truck, nice ride!

Thanks! I finally switched out of the black oem wheels into the 8 hole fj wheels, but I do think I will be making them black soon. As for the bumper I love mine and know it will take a beating in an accident as compared to my stock one, all for just a couple hundred more dollars. Now lets see some pics of your rig! Also how did you fit 275s?!
*also highly recommend shocks and such if you are going to be putting the bumper on. Weighs around 150 lbs, but man was it worth the weight and probably my favorite upgrade!

Hey Nick, could you get more of a close up picture on them 2" pods in the bumper, and far in do they sit.Do the whole light body fit in the holes?

Not to happy with the piaas. Rocks flying are breaking the glass.

They actually do fit fully in the hole with a little room to spare. I will get a picture after work, as fortunately I am driving her today!:roadkill:

The lights are 16W and are the exact same size as rigid duallys. And they're actually closer to 3x3. You can find em on ebay or amazon by searching for 16W led pod or the 6 LED (aka dually d2, still same size) versions by searching 18W. You can find em for $40-45 per pair for the 16W and $55-60 for the 18W.

When you put your Toytec lift on did you have to change your control arms too? With the red springs, is that the boss kit they upgraded you too? Any issues? Looks real good. The other motivation to finish building my house is I get my wife's runner, so the first thing I'm going to do is lift it. I too like to over prepare for a project.

Sorry as I just got this notification?! But I did not need to change out my arms with the lift. This ended up being the ultimate kit I believe and have loved how it rides since installing them! However the rear billies blew out after a year so I then switched to ICONs. Its a good system, but dont let it fool you, to adjust is more of a pain and the reality is my front has stayed at its initial setting and has been fine.

Hurry up with the house already!

Thanks! I try to get out in it as much as possible unlike the westerners and easterners it makes trips a little difficult being the middle of the country.
I actually still need to put up my most recent trip.
As for adventures this weekend I'm going with a couple tacomas and a 3rd gen to wreak havoc on all the jeeps participating

Your setup was exactly what I was thinking about for my wife's 4runner. Did you need brakeline extensions for that lift? I'm about to buy the same one as yours, but not sure if I need anything extra.

Are you using wheel spacers on those FJ wheels? I really like them, but I don't want spacers.

Does anyone have a link to a site that has wheels with the correct offset and backspacing on an '06? I just want my 265/70/17 to be flush with the fenders, nothing crazy (it's my wife's DD).

I don't have a link for the offset, but I can tell you on an SR5 model that no spacers were needed with the wheels, and for the lift no brake line extensions were needed either.

Ha thanks man! It has been a fun build and sometimes to me it seems boring, but then I get reminded of the fun I have had building it and the places it has taken me. I wouldn't trade it for anything, and I should probably update my thread since I haven't in a while. In other news this is what the Runner looks like these days

That is one thing we lack here is trails as compared to other members on here. Having access to a few hundred acres does help though.

Oh absolutely. We went and did some exploring..expecting another 6 inches Friday as well.

I know..supposed to be making our way out to Iowa City that night and spending the weekend there. Debating whether to take mine, but the wife wants to take her Subi...we shall see who wins. Either way I'm packing a snatch strap and tredz.
