waiting two weeks for new radio 2013

One would think in this day in age of overnight, 2-3 day shipping that a dealer could get a replacement head unit quickly. Nope. 2 weeks. The radio GPS loses memory and will not detect bluetooth devices anymore. Dealer says bad head unit. Od course it is all under warranty, just frustrating that it is taking 2 weeks.

Oh by the way, one tire had a nail in it so dealer installed spare until new tire came in (next day). My spare wheel is yellow. I bet the factory uses their "blemished" wheels as spares.

Took my dealer 4 or 5 days to get an Alternator for my 4Runner. Had to be shipped from some where on the east coast, because apparently the Pacific Northwest and I suppose the whole of the west coast did not have one.

At least you can drive your truck while you wait for that part.

They can get it faster, they just don't want to pay the shipping costs. You don't expect them to lose money on the deal. I mean after all it's not an emergency to them.hwell:

Very true. I will mention it on their survey and will write Toyota. Yes its just a bad radio, but still things like this is why I left GM products.
