All I can say is, Amazing!!! This is probably the coolest thing anyone has done in a 5th gen.

Here I was worrying about what lift/ tires to get so that I can take an occasional trip to the mountains, and this guy is taking his (basically stock) rig across Africa?!

I totally agree with you, this Toyota 4Runner Trail comes factory ready for the harshest environments, it is even higher than the other models. Carbia thought the tires, but I was pleasantly surprised, both in the sand dunes and climbing rocks, will change when you have spent.
