Want bigger/wider street tires 07 SE

I mostly do highway/street driving here in socal. I have stock 07 SEdition. I dont plan on any off-road terrain use... only street use. I would want quiet yet good wet/dry tires that has good grip of the road. Current OEM tires only have 16k miles and it isnt that great.

I understand that most people lift cars to create more clearance in the front and alsoto fit bigger tires and wider tires... I dont plan to get a lift.. maybe a spacer on OEM wheels and get taller/wider tires with spacers.

Can anyone help me with choices out there? Thanks!

If youre looking to save money I have the Cross Terrains on my truck right now and am planning on getting bigger tires soon. The only reason I havent added more lift and gotten bigger tires yet is that the Cross Terrains have performed so well (if it ain't broke dont fix it). Anyways, Im in SoCal as well, PM me if youd be interested in a set of used 265/65r17

I have OEM 17s...

so with 275/70/17 no rubbing?? no spacers needed?

Seems like Mich CT's are being one of the favorites here...

Im not sure seeing as they came on my 4runner when i bought it (used). I can grab some calipers from my work and go out to take some tread depth measurements sometime.
