Hello. The Lexus GX470 overhead unit does in fact fit perfectly. I don't have the part number so sorry, can't help there. The connector is actually different too, so I used a little ingenuity to make it work. It's nice to have the lamps tied in to the door circuit now, along with the LEDs which are installed in it, lightly illuminating the center console.
Very worthwhile project! I'll see if I have any pictures of it out, and installed.

Hey guys. I'll try to find some pictures of it apart (if I have any). Again, I don't have the part number, and I can't remember how much it was as I purchased several items when I bought it.
The connectors between the two models are completely different. The connector receptacle on our 4runners is part of the assembly so I used a Dremel w/ cutting wheel to seperate it, and then I basically just hacked off the connector from the GX470 one, then soldered the respective wires onto the 4runner removed piece.
Of course, since the GX470 part also has the ambient lights and the door switch input, there are a few wires left out. For this, I used a mini-molex connector that I already had to make another quick disconnect plug, and ran those wires for lamp power, ground, etc.
Obviously, you can do it any way you decide would be easiest for you. I chose to reuse the receptacle off of the 4runner assembly so I wouldn't have to replace that mating end. In hind-sight, it may have been easier to just replace that connector with a larger connector (with more circuits) so all the wires would fit in the one connector. I do a lot of projects so have several different mini-molex connectors, so that's what I used. I'm sure you could also use computer style connectors as well if that's what you have available.

Ok, I did find a picture of the overhead console wiring connector / removed part from the 4runner console with the GX470 console wires soldered to it. In this picture, I finished soldering the wires, but it isn't cleaned up, and I also put epoxy over the solder connections, and taped it up to insulate. But you'll get the idea.
I've also labeled the wires so you can see what each one is for.
