Wanting to buy another 3rd Gen, Whats the best model and options to get?

99-00 4x4 5 speed v6 is most desired from what i have gathered, i only buy manuals, check for rust, make sure it was treated well, and buy the best truck you can get for the money, dont worry about what year it is.

I agree completely. I don't like automatics at all, so I would take a stripped manual trans over a loaded auto Limited with locker any day. Plus, a 3rd gen without a locker will go places most vehicles can't. But if you happen to find a clean rig with one, it is a very nice feature to have.
