Hi i just got a 4wd 4runner about a week ago and i want to lift it useing spacers. Ive been reading alot about it and theres just so much thats its kinda confuseing.

Heres a few ?'s that im cofused about.

1. I want to go with a 3" lift so will in need 3" spacers for front and back both? cause i see them for sale with 3" fr and 2"rear which would'nt that make it sit unlevel.

2. What are some good afforable places to buy everything i need to do fronts and rear. I found some kits on ebay and toyotech but they had coils as well.

3. My coils on the truck is all level so could i get by with just getting spacers and new shocks?

4. The panhard bar do i have to by a extender for it or is that opitonal?

5. Lastly is there a guide with pics on how to do the lift for the 3rd gen's or better yet a video? Ive found guides for the 4th gen and Vid for the tundar but not for the 4R

thanks guys

i got my skyjacker spacers, 2.5" F and 3" B. came with nitro 8000 shocks for $280, just have to look around. nobody likes then but i like mine.

Your not gonna need new springs unless your old ones are shot. Sounds like yours are fine.

Check out spacer lift kits from Revtek, they make complete kits. I ran them on my 4runner for a while and I liked them. Pretty cheap price too.

Normally the rear spacers are a little larger than the front. I have never heard of a front spacer being larger than a rear before. Just be sure they are made for a 3rd gen before you pull the trigger.

Panhard bar is optional, although it would be helpful if you ugraded that as well.

ok thanks i will check them out :) thorridder nice to see some one else from Ok here im from arkoma ok right nxt to ft smith ar. about a hour or so from stillwater

look into bilstein 5100s up front if you are on a budget. you can knock out new shocks + lift up to 2.5" at the same time and can also upgrade the stock springs later for a full 3" lift.
