Warning!!! Do not buy these wheel spacers

I thought they would be the same as spidertrax besides the hub centric, which actually they seemed to be hub centric, they said they are made of the same metal etc.. I put them on last night, and about a mile down the road I heard some ticking and a little clunking. I looked out my window at the front wheel and it seemed to be wobbly. I immediately pulled over and all the lugs were loose on all wheels. I thought to myself I know I tightened em using an impact. I tightened them up, they seemed to be stripping, I noticed metal shavings, etc.. I spent about an hour on these and came to the simple conclusion that these are worthless, dangerous, cheap pos wheel spacers. if I was driving down the road any further the wheels would have flown off.. extremely dangerous.. live and learn. buy spidertraxx. thank God i'm safe.

It doesn't say that they are hub centric on the ebay page.

Paying the extra 50 bucks for spider trax clearly worth it.

I'm a bit confused, what sheared? Not to offend, but are you certain they were all torqued to spec?

Good to hear there weren't any major mishaps. Did these spacers come with loctite or were there any used on the bolts?

He probably had the nuts on the rim come loose, that is where the hub centric comes into play as the wheel isn't staying center and the vibration works on the bolt to the tires.

DDNWW, glad you and your rig is ok there, just make sure they say hub centric, they will have a lip on the back to fit in the hub and a lip for your rim like the hub to set center. I still don't know why they can still sell non centric spacers for knowing this can/will happen. Surprised no one has sued any company yet.

no it doesn't say theyre hubcentric, however they fit snug around they hub as a hubcentric should, I think it would be an extra $100 for the spidertraxx, but still well worth it. they were definitely torqued to spec, first with impact gun, then torque wrench. the threading were shearing right off.

no Loctite in package, but Loctite was used.
