Was there a 4Runner "TRD" for 96-02?

I know there are TRD options (supercharger, etc.). There are definitely package groups, such as Base, SR5, and Limited. Was there ever a package group of options called the TRD for the 3rd gen 4Runners? I am seeing someone selling a 4Runner TRD and I am trying to figure out what options that came with it (if that is a real trim package?) and how to put a value on it.

Not a real trim level. No TRD option was ever available for a 4Runner. By calling it a 4Runner TRD, no value should be added to his price, it also shows how much he knows about his vehicle.

There was not a TRD option for 4runners. But that doesn't mean 4runners didn't come equipped with same options as a TRD Tacoma.

Thanks all. That was what I thought... that there were TRD options, but not a standard collection of options to make up a whole trim level. I even had one guy tell me that his 4Runner didn't have the diff lock because that only came on the TRD model. Whatever

I can see his logic behind the thought on this.

The diff lock only came on the TRD model of the Tacoma's so logical thought would dictate that only TRD 4runners have the diff lock. As has been said, this is not true as there was never a designated TRD package for the 4runner but plenty of options like what I have on mine (Locker, Supercharger, TRD catback lol)
