Water pump is two years old. Didn't notice any leaking/drips as I park on grass. Happened to open the radiator cap yesterday and noticed antifreeze was gone below the tubes. Started the engine and saw antifreeze pouring out of the front part of the block. Its not the hoses or radiator. And I can't see exactly where it is coming from but it is in the area of the water pump. Is there another seal or something in that area that can be leaking? Could not be a cracked block? Water pump installed by mechanic as part of a timing belt change out so I am waiting for him to come pick it up.
I have had pumps leak before, but it was minor drips, not as much as I saw yesterday. This puppy has to last a few months longer so I can get back to the main land, so I hope its nothing big.
