Weathertech floor mats

I just ordered the whole shebang. Weathertech front and rear floor liners, and a rear cargo mat. $330 all told.

I live in an isolated cabin in alaska, and during spring/summer my driveway and everything but my front steps turns to mud combined with land mines of dog poo from my huskys.
 
I had the weather techs and my foot wore a hole in them in one year of driving. :( Went to Costco and bought whatever they sell and they still look good after years of use.
 
I just got my husky liners for the front for $50 shipped. 100% satisfied. I wanted the weathertechs but I couldn't justify the cost so I went with the husky liners.

The weathertecs I have (front/back floor liners) seem quite durable. I am suprised there was any sort of issue. You should return them under warranty.

As for the weathertec warranty. The docs state:

I got my floorliners, and they are sweet, but my drivers side floormat didn't come with the pins that keep it in place... was it supposed to?

I bought the weather tec liners for my runner...no pins...there are holes that just hook onto the hooks that you should already have on your floor...

Unless I am misunderstanding your question...

damn thats not good. I have holes in my floor. I guess I have to figure out what happened to the hooks that are supposed to be there? I assumed the mats had the hooks/pins to hook into the holes in the carpet.

//edit: are the hooks supposed to be removable? I can't find the part on partznet.

Also ...if you still have your owners manual, check the bag that it was sealed in. Mine were in there in a very small bag. I had no idea about the hooks until I got the Weathertecs, then I went searching and found em.

that happened to me with the All-Weather Mats made by Toyota.

i just got Weathertech liners for my Pathfinder. so far so good. they're great. hope they hold up over time.

I think they will, but what I am doing is putting some cheap basic floor mats on top of them...this way they take the beating and not the more expensive floor liners that provider the wider scope protection for the carpet...The salt/winters up here are brutal and car mats take a serious beating...I figure if I go this route I won't need to replace the Weather tecs for my time with the vehicle...

These Weather tecs are not cheap but now that I have them installed I am pretty confident that they are going to work really well....

My thoughts...
