weathertech mats great deal

Hey guys,

I was in the market for a weathertech mats and came across a great deal. Normally they are $179.99 but was on sale for $158 so I picked one up. It may not sound like much but these mats don't go on sale so I wanted to share it with you.

These only include the first and second row and not the cargo space. And if you are wondering, NO I do not get any incentives. I just wanted to pass it along to those that were interested.

It's hard to judge the material of these two brands viewing them on line but I think I like the Husky materials better. They seem thicker and more pliable, rubber-like than the Weathertech.

I was looking at the husky as well. I noticed that the price goes down during the week nights and comes back up during the day and the weekend. I've seen them as low as 140 during the past week.

I got them for $128 on Amazon in the early AM hours 01:00-03:00 & they went back up sometime around 05:00.
 
I hated the weather tech I had in my raptor. Might try the huskies on the 4runner. Does anyone make a liner for the slide out rear cargo tray?
 
Having both, the Husky's are more flexible by design, however the Weathertechs cover and fit perfect. The OP's price is great, I got their entire 4Runner package on the Weathertech site (front/rear/cargo plus window & moonroof deflectors, and two license plate frames).., and I got no deal for $500 bucks.
My only complaint is the smell on hot days, it's a strong rubber/tire like smell within the cabin, however after the windows are lowered briefly, the odor is removed.

Sorry for being vague..., the fit and finish on my 2015 Weathertechs are superior to my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU and my previous 2001 4Runner's Husky liners. So Weathertech.

I also run the weather tech driver/passenger as well as cargo tray. I have no need for the second row mats. The weather tech mats are great quality and perfect fit. I am also a huge advocate of this brand.

I looked at reviews (here & Amazon) and it seems to be pretty evenly split. Apparently at some point Husky & Weathertech redesigned the mats in a positive manner. I've not seen the weathertechs so I can't directly compare the latest versions but I find that the Huskys to fit very well. I'm extremely happy with them.

Price is no longer valid and is now at $174. Hopefully those in the market had a chance to buy it.
 
I personally had both on my 4runner, including cargo covers. I like the husky. Husky has thicker material, is really difficult to bend. The lip that surrounds the outer edge is much higher, meaning it keeps dirt on the mats. It sits much higher than weathertech.

Weather tech has much better fitment. They are much thinner and flexible. It also provides holes to lock the mats. My husky didnt have it. It had spikes under the mat to grab in place.

That must be one of the changes as the Husky liners now have the holes to lock them in place.

I think I am going to order now for the winter. Let them sit out until the odor dissipates.
 
I have a set of very slightly used '13-'15 Weathertechs for sale in black. Front seats and back row. Please PM if interested. (Sorry to hijack thread but figured it might help a forum member out)
