Weathertech window visors - wind noise?

I saw some increased wind noise when I installed the Weather Tech. Have started to get used to it.

Have AVS on mine and when just barely cracking the front 2 windows it does whistle. Opening the front windows a little more gets rid of the whistling but there still is wind noise. Albeit a lot less wind noise when the windows were open the same amount without the visors.
They work as were intended. Just open mine a little past the whistling point and all is golden.

I also have the Weathertech in-channel window deflectors, and have heard no whistle. I am no stranger to that phenomenon though. My 2013 Sequoia was outfitted with Weathertechs, and there was a pretty loud whistle that would occur at high speeds, freaked me out on the highway some days. Automatically had me thinking i needed a new wheel bearing or something.

Increased wind noise and rattle from one of the rear ones. Many end up having them fly off. It had me so annoyed I trashed them and went AVS stick on.

Ditto here for in channel for 2 years
I have not had any problems with the rear ones coming out as some have. I followed the install instructions precisely and left the windows fully up an additional 2 days.

Didn't mention this earlier that my visors are in-channel. Have seen several comments here and elsewhere about the visors flying off and wanted to give a tip.
All the in-channel visors I have bought have had very poor placement of the double sided tape. Every time (3 times) I have installed the in-channel visors I have removed the 2 sided tape and replaced it with the same.
When these visors come from the factory the tape is not installed on the edge of the visors. Usually there's more than a quarter inch of edge exposed edge where it goes in the channel and on the front windows of the 5th gen that's all you have room to put the visor in. I.e.. there is nothing for the tape to stick too because half of the tape is not in the channel.
Never had a problem with visors falling off and I highly recommend inspecting your visors when you get them and make sure the 2 sided tape is right on the edge of the visor for mounting.
Otherwise if you follow the mounting instructions you should have no problem.
Don't get the ones that stick on the outside of your truck, they look terrible like that, imho.

I have the external AVS visors on my third gen and don't mind their appearance, nor do I notice any additional noise. Road and wind noise made by open windows is a fact of life. My truck is green so I don't "see" them as much as other colors might being an external stick on.
Next go around I would like to try internal for a cleaner look, but my intention for these was not so much driving with the windows open rather parking with the windows cracked to allow the vehicle to vent in 100°+ degree heat here in SoCal.
