Electrical/Solar Setup (continued)
Bussman Fuse Box install
I opted to go with a Bussman Fuse Box setup instead of a Blue Sea fusebox because of the weather sealing and the additional relays. I ordered a pre-made kit from Tacomapros, complete with a Bussman 90A relay, switchbacks (to make wiring in the OTRATTW switches a little easier), and an aluminum plate to hold it all down.
Mounting it all up and drilling holes
Running the cabin harness (which contains the switchback harness to the OTRATTW switches) through the main harness firewall pass-through
Back side of the main harness pass-through- this is where it exits into the interior
Tie it all back into the mil-spec battery terminals on the Odyssey and you're done!
Plugged into the OTRATTW switches
Question for you sir, are you tying your Bussmann into any of your wires inside the cabin? I have a Bussmann too, but I the cable that I run through the firewall has a connection for LED ground and power for my OTRATTW switches.

So my Bussman also tied into OTRATTW switches. There were 6 leads acting as switched power for the 6 switched circuits, 12V positive and ground, and another wire for illumination.

I had no idea about the KO2's specifically that they are available in a 34x10.5, which is exactly the size I've been after. How do they do in the snow? Do you run a full size spare? I wouldn't imagine that would fit under the rear eh? Sorry if this has been covered, I have been really absent from this forum lately, getting back into moto.
Also, tell me things about your airtop. I have been thinking of switching to one of those. I love my ARB, but it is kind of a pain in the ass to set up and take down. It seems like the hard shells are way easier yes?

The OP doesn't have an Airtop, it's an Airlander. I know this question wasn't directed towards me but I own an Airtop and have owned an ARB. The Airtop sets up in seconds and is very aerodynamic. These tents are hard to get as they are sold before they leave Italy (these are hand made btw). The ARB is a good tent but the quality is no where near that of the Autohome tents. Having owned 5 RTTs (2 being Maggiolinas) I can tell you I don't miss having a heavy brick sitting on my roof.

Thanks! I got the idea from [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] so I can't take all the credit for this.
I believe [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] mentioned that he was able to fit the 34x10.5 in the spare tire area. I'm going with a rear tire carrier soon so I honestly don't care about being able to fit it down there. The tire is awesome- I didn't lose much MPG or lose any ride quality which is what I was most concerned about, since it's only a hair wider than a stock tire and D load range. It's performed great for me in both soft snow in Oregon and loose rocks in Joshua Tree.
Overall I can't think of any cons about the tire other than the availability. The KO2s are the only tire you can find in this size which makes getting a cheap spare near impossible.
[MENTION=73015]Xetabur[/MENTION] is correct, it's an Airlander. The main difference between the two is the lift mechanism. Mine (the Airlander) uses a crank system to open/close the tent, whereas the Airtop uses hydraulic lifts that open/close it. The Airlander is also about 3-4 inches shorter than the Airtop. Both are similar in terms of sizing.
The hardshell RTTs whether you chose the Airlander or the Airtop will be superior in the ease of setup to a soft shell tent (with the Airtop obviously having a slight edge) and also in fuel efficiency. Having both a fiberglass top and bottom is also pretty beneficial as they should last a very long time with proper care. The only drawback to the hardshell RTT's is probably the interior space, with the regular RTTs having the edge due to the flip out design.
