Weird ac and transmission problem

So I was coming back from the lake with a boat in tow and I was on a pretty steep hill and the truck rolled back a little then stalled. When i started it again the ac control panel was dead (no ac working either) and the truck would not shift manually into the gears. It shifts through the gears just fine but i cant manually go into 4th 3rd 2nd or L.

2004 V8 btw

any ideas?

heres what i tried last night
- disconnecting the battery for a few hours
- checked all the fuses
- made sure all the wires are connected still
