Weird AC Problem

Just last week i went out of town it was rather warm outside so i turned my AC i let it run on full cold for a while (about 2 hours)then i noticed it stopped blowing cold and began shooting out little brown pieces of foam what is going on???

broken a/c line

I believe you have a busted AC line. The brown foam you saw was the corrosion within the now unsealed AC system.

that's exactly what it is. this is used on the heater doors(fresh&recir), its is also used to seal heater core and evap core. the oil could either be coolant or a/c oil. either way there is a leak. a/c malfunction could be airflow being restricted past thermistor (temp sensor). this part prevents evap core freeze up, which is likely the cause of your troubles. when temp drops below a certain level. a/c operation is stop by the a/c amplifier until thermistor temp goes up. good luck.
