Weird Oil on Spark Plug

Hey everyone,

So I started to get a misfire pretty bad on my 200 4 runner. I ended up replacing the plugs and the car started to run great. About a month later the car started doing the exact same thing. On the old plugs I noticed oil in a location I never have before. Has anyone seen this? If so, do you know what causes it? I do have a leaky valve cover gasket I plan on replacing today.

only thing it could possily be is the oil from the v-cover or the ring for the tube on the back of the v-cover

Thanks for the input. I'm hoping this that is the case but want to make sure I shouldn't look at other places while I have the valve cover off.
