Weird Sound from front driver side

Help!

Yesterday I noticed a weird sound coming from the front driver side of my runner. It happens whenever I accelerate, hit a bump or turn my wheel. Also my wheel is really shaky when driving over troubled areas... Any ideas on what it is?

Im looking on other forums and they are saying things like a CV bar? could this be true and what is it?

I have an 02 4R SR5 4x4.

Sounds like a dry ball joint or tie rod end. Should have it checked right a way. It could seize up and snap off leaving you in a mess.
