Weird start after battery disconnect?

My 2021 ORP does a weird start after the battery has been completely disconnected from the vehicle for more than a few minutes. The engine revs up as normal, then drops a few hundred RPM for a few seconds, then revs back up.

Is this normal? I don't disconnect the battery that often but I'd like to understand what's going on.

It is normal for the first start after battery disconnect. Most of times 4Runner just starts and stall immediately.

When you disconnect the battery the computer has to "re-learn" what's normal operating parameters, so the engine will run a bit abnormal during the re-learning.

This same occurrence is why you can reset trouble "codes" by disconnecting the battery.
