weird thing at a local Toyo dealer

last thursday i went to get an oil change before my trip to Baltimore. while they were performing the oil change i took a walk around the lot. they had about 12-15 T4R there, all with their engines running. they had some Rav4's and some Sienna's too all with their engines running. anyone know what they could have been doing? it was evident they weren't going anywhere

It happens once and awhile....exactly what someone said before, usually to move stuff around and change the look. Also, it's not the worst thing to start all of the stuff up once and awhile....that way there's no surprize dead batteries or empty fuel tanks come test-drive time (yes, new vehicles get dead batteries all the time ).

Do a few laps around the lot to clean the crap off the brakes and bring get all the fluids flowing and such. In the winter we need to plow the whole lot on snow days, and there are often dozens of vehicles idling just to thaw out before moving them.
