In the lower right hand corner of each post you can click on the "edit" button, this brings you back to the Reply box. Then you can simply upload another image.

Does this make sense? Its kind of hard to explain!

Yeah!
OK let's do it!
So you can see more Pics

Welcome! Always love to see some pics with an introduction. I love Galactic grey, but the color of your 4runner is my favorite. Do you know the official name of the color? I'm assuming it's the same as what is called Pacific Blue Mica in the states, but I guess it doesn't have to be. Anyway, the color looks awesome in the beach pic.

Limited with a hood scoop. Interesting.

Well JB thanks!
I really can't tell if it's the same Pacific Blue Mica, here the official color name is Greysh Blue, it really look like the Pacific Blue anyway!
the reason for the hood scoop is because that's the inner air take that the turbo uses for the Diesel Engine.
in the picture note the air filter on top of the engine...that's the air take from the outside of the hood.
heres a pic of the engine!

Doh! If I wasn't so busy admiring the color, perhaps I could've figured that out.:bash:

whats that engine like?

Welcome to the owners club!

I haven't heard of a turbo diesal b4, i guess its offered in various overseas markets. How much horsepower and torque does it make? Have you ever driven a gasoline engined t4r that you can compare?.
That color is beautiful.

Well yes it is offered for some countries only, Gasoline engines are smoother, but todays diesel engines are quite smooth and fast, and it really makes a difference when you got high fuel prices in this countries, here is a little table that will tell you about the torque and stuff....

KZN215L-GKPZT
Engine 1KZ-TE

Turbodiesel 3.0 L.
Cilynders 4
Valves 8 valves
(cc) 2982
Max Power 130/4000
Max TORQUE 342/2000

Man that is one big ass 4 cyl and tons of torque. I remember Porsche once made a 4 cyl 3.0 liter engine. It had tons of vibrations.

Welcome! That's one awesome 4Runner you got there, diesel and all! I like the brush guard, any idea who makes it?

Yeah, the Greyish Blue Metallic is Pacific Blue Metallic in the states. Nice color choice!

130hp. That's seems not very much for the 2500kg truck. Compare to 4.0 V6 - 240hp.
342 torque. That's about the same as V6 - 384

ok
So thanks to...
Luxury (Do you have pic of all that extras you have in your signature? it sounds interesting!)

Rxvedub (nice pic with the motorcycle... I dont know much about power and stuff, so if you want to give me some advice you are welcome, does it work with diesel engines??)

Tkr128 (Same color ahh??!!!..nice!)

Peter 78, Rossmon1...and all of you for the replies! :)
I have some other upcoming trips troughout the country so I'll be posting pics and pics...

I thought the V-6 was 282 lb/ft of torque

I wish it had 342!!! THats more than the V-8!

is you 4x4 full time or do you have an option of 2HI?

It's NOT full time 4X4 it has the ring next to the ignition key
for the two 4X4 options, first one for H4 and the second one for L4
