Weld together front bumper kit?

I would have been happy to get a front and a rear. I also have a welder but lack the other stuff

Yep, I'm in the same boat.
I decided to just build my own plate bumper. Got it all mocked-up in foam board, about to start cutting the steel.

Would you be able to post some pictures? Or, if you're so inclined, do a semi-writeup on it? I would love to see progress, and the steps you took. That is; unless it a proprietary secret ;) Fabricating is like making a sandwich; everyone does it differently and takes different steps, has different approaches and executes differently, and I believe that it would be beneficial to see your "views" on it.

I need to make a build thread anyway… guess I could start it off with this front bumper.

Ha Haa! Nice try. I cut all the pieces today… I don't have a plasma torch or even a cutting torch, so it was all 4 1/2" cutting wheel… slow rough going, but it's done.

I'll do a write-up of sorts for this bumper build; as I'm not ready to start a truck build thread.

I think that thing looks killer.
I am soooo tired of seeing the same ones all over town.
I went with the stock setup just so I wouldn't look like everyone else!

Old thread but figured I'd add what I offer for the classic T4R's for weld-together kits. We currently have front bumpers and full drivetrain skids for the 1st and 2nd gen 4runners and plan to release a rear bumper with single and dual tire swing out options.

All of our bumpers are made to provide the best possible approach angle and ground clearance while still being able to fit a winch. And of course, they are available with no tubing or just a small center hoop for those who don't like the full headlight tubing look.
