2004 T4R, V6, 316K, just started doing this today. The issue had progressively gotten worse over the last week.

Got it started finally but had to pump the gas, which makes me think it’s a fuel issue?

How did it run after it finally started? Any error codes stored?

I've been posting my troubleshoot here, which involved ruling out the fuel pump. This $32 test kit worked well and is reasonable cost:

Amazon.com: BETOOLL Fuel Pressure Test Kit 0-100PSI with 9.49,7.89,6.30 Fuel Line Fittings: Automotive

No other tools required, be sure to:

1.) Remove the fuel pump relay and crank the engine to relieve fuel pressure. Easy pull from the under-hood electrical panel and clearly labeled under the lid.

2.) Clean the fuel line at both sides of the connector before disconnecting it to avoid dirt getting into the fuel system.

There are three relays (EFI, CKT OPEN, FUEL PUMP) and the 20A EFI fuse involved in running the fuel pump on my 2007, likely yours is the same. See my thread on P0230 (and now P0335) for details on how I approached the troubleshoot, might help a bit.

Wouldn't hurt to do what I did, pull each one (gently, straight up from the socket so you don't deform the pins) and inspect the pins for corrosion or burn marks. Fuel pressure test will tell the story and that test kit I posted is cheap.

I am 90% sure it is a fuel issue...

Cold start this AM in 10 degree temps.

First start, no issue at all.
Turned it off...
Second start, she had a harder time starting but started after a few extra cranks.
Turned it off...
Third start, I got this (below video), and had to floor the gas to get her to start, but she started.

So not to discount or disagree with your hypothesis, but keep in mind that every time you start and stop the engine without letting it run a few minutes, you're taxing your battery and in the temps you report, it's probably not happy to begin with. Just my $.02, best of luck to you.
