Went into a ditch, Is this door Salvageable?

Someone swerved into my lane and I went into a ditch narrowly missing a tree to avoid the oncoming car. As a result, I lost my mirror and the chrome that's above my back right wheel was ripped off. The back-right passenger door must've scuffed something as the triangular window was busted out and the window railing was bent. Is there anything I can pull off a junkyard 4-Runner to avoid buying a completely new door? Also, because I lost my mirror and a new one wouldn't match the color of the old one, I was thinking about painting them both black or bed lining them, has anybody here done anything similar?

Sorry about your door, I have painted my mirrors with bed liner I didn't even have to remove them and it came out well just remember to mask

Honesty probably cheaper to get new doors from junkyard. The body lines will match up better with new doors. Biggest issue is, can it be fixed. Yes. Will it be perfect. No. And if not fixed properly. You don't want water seeping through.

Unless you find a door of same color truck. Either way your gonna have to get it painted. If you fix your doors( most likely a body shop will tell you to get new doors and repaint them ) or if you just buy doors.

Check car-part.com. Looks like there are lots of doors available, I even saw some red ones. I'm assuming that the Richmond that you are in, is Virginia, so that is where I searched.

Body work is not worth the effort. paint is needed no matter if you fix the old one or put on a clean junk yard door. Difference is body work is more than the used door.

I bought new doors when I did my unlimited decladding. Many clean doors out there that just need 200 in paint.

Good junkyard door would be like 1-200$, repaint for a single door would be another 1-200$, not an expensive fix at all.

How perfect do you want the repair to be?
I expect my 4Runner to run well but to still look like a 19 year-old vehicle. Here's my input... Buy a used, red door to replace the bent one. You need to worry about the door seal to the body. Then, spend money to have the body pounded out enough to create a good seal to the new door. You will still see some dents on the outside and there could be a color mismatch, but sealing out water is the most important thing.

You might get really lucky and find a red 4runnerwith identical paint. But rare. And if you really ... Really really want the paint to match. They will have to paint your doors, rear quarter panel and front fender to properly blend it in. So how much do you care about the 4Runner is the question.

Not when you paint and blend the adjacent panel. Bottom line is you'll need paint to make it look like nothing happened. The smallest body/paint job dollar wise is to buy a clean door and paint the top site and blend into the adjacent panel.

I painted the sides of my 4runner when I did my doors. I didn't care if it was a bit off.

Yeah I'm actually attempting to fix the door. I can get the bar that is bent from a junkyard 4runner so that I can at least replace the window. I don't mind dents and scratches to much but I try to keep them to a minimum.
