What are 4 used Dunlops worth?

Well... according to eBay, a set of 4 NEW Grandtreks is only $199 US (plus $100 for shipping), so it's barely worth the effort to sell a used set.

It's too bad I didn't discovered this forum *before* I bought my 4runner so I could have negotiated for better tires. This is one area where Toyota really dropped the ball and, strangely, I don't recall any of the numerous consumer reviews on the Edmunds or MSN Autos websites mentioning the crappy Dunlops.

Anyway, hopefully next winter will be less of a white-knuckle experience with the Revos.

You could always run them in the summer months and save the revos for winter....

make the good tires last longer.....
I have tolerated the Dunlops for 28k, I am going to let them wear out... and just enjoy the heck out of the Revos!

just an idea: have yall tried listing on ebay with a reserve around $400? wouldnt hurt

Better yet put them at $400 with no reserve and see who is serious...

Everyone told me not to sell my quad that way and I got $300 more then I wanted... go figure.

Um... did you guys even think to look at how much they are new before you set a price?

They're about $90 ea. I had 7k miles on mine and I just gave all 5 of them to my bro-in-law. He has 3 auto repair shops so he probably has a better chance to sell them for $50 ea or so.

I didn't think it was worth the time and effort to sell them anywhere.
