What are some Auto jobs?

Im going into college and since i found this site my (already huge) interest in cars has grown. Im wondering what type of jobs are there out there that deal with this? Not like a mechanic and such.. but stuff with dealerships and car companys. more of the business standpoint but still dealing with cars.. Thanks in advance!

I have friend that does post production work for many major auto makers video. Often he deals with instruction on how to do recalls, service bulletins or other maintenance issues. Occasional some commercials for various outdoor companies, it is free lance work. He gets about $400 a day. Longer projects are negotiated at a lower rate.

My question is if your in the business end of it, does it really matter if the business is to sell cars or sell a baseball bat? I can appreciate the fact that you want to work with cars, as i would like too, but unless your a photographer, designer, videographer, or have some sort business working/owning in a shop, or a journalist (like what Top Gear does) i can't imagine too many Businessmen have a large wealth of knowledge of the product at hand.

So my advice to you, follow the money, from what i hear, it should get you some.

Both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering can be applied to Automotive design for say aftermarket parts and accesories. Marketing obviously both print and electronic media as mentioned by some posts above. Graphic design and a few others as well.

With a Business Administration degree, you can find work in almost any sector from automobiles to airplanes. Why limit yourself?
