What are these?

I left my 1997 4Runner accidentally unlocked here in NYC. Some cockroach rifled through it only to steel the manual (if anyone has one let me know) and an umbrella.

They did however tear out the ashtray and tracks and broke the arms that stop the center console lid from opening too far (if anyone has those let me know).

The ashtray and tracks went back in but I am left with these two pieces that I have no idea what they are.

What the heck are they for?

Those look like the clips that go on the headlights to retain the glass onto the housing. There should be two on top of each light. Otherwise I have no clue.

Perhaps they were in the glove box and i never saw them. I though that perhaps they were some sort of retaining clips for the ashtray.
