Current highway fuel economy: 20 average

I swapped out my set of BFG 265/75's in an E for a set of Duratracs in the same size but a C load. Immediately noticed a difference not only in mpg's, but in general power while driving. May be a little moot now being supercharged.

interesting because I feel like this is really low fuel economy, but my truck is totally stock.

Eidt: I checked this against the 5 mile markers on I5 and it was EXACT.

Modifications that affect MPG: Recently cleaned MAF and Throttle Body Intake

Current highway fuel economy: pre-cleaning: 16-18 Highway; post-cleaning
- recently got over 26 on trip to Oregon Coast (hilly, secondary roads, all pavement)

Cleaning the MAF sensor and the Throttle Body made a huge difference
in MPG (Scanguage readings). In town MPG is 5 mpg higher too. Kind of surprising - I've owned the truck for a year, had 1 owner and 136k miles on it when I got it- really thought I just had to live with the crappy mileage due to the bigger tires, but no - actually cleaning things made a big difference.

Modifications that affect MPG: 5 speed swap, manual hub conversion, 2.5" lift, 9" wide wheels.
Current highway fuel economy: Got 19.8mpg on my last road trip. Avg speed of 70mph. Lots of hills and 4k RPM grade climbs.
 
WOW that is crazy. I've never heard of that much of a difference from cleaning MAF and throttle body. Also never seen for that mpg from that tire size. Besides your trip, what are you getting on normal highway trips?
 
One has to specify is it's V6 or L4.
My V6 4runner 4x4 rear 4:10 ratio is doing 17 highway at 65 cruise and 11ish city (my V8 2000 AWD 6900 lb LandCruiser is doing 16.6 highway at 70 and 11 in the city).

Assuming you're talking to me-
I average around 16 mpg from normal driving.
Unless I'm off road, 15 is as low as I ever see, and I don't see over 17 too often.
My commute is 21.2 miles each way. In the morning, it's a free-sailing 40-70 mph drive. In the evening, it's 5-70 mph.
I calculate my mileage every tank, and have found it does me no good at all to "be easy on the throttle". Just drive it, and don't be scared to rev it out, cause it ain't hurting your mileage! Of course, I can only speak for myself- and a buddy who has experienced the same results.

When I posted my results I should mention where I live in Pennsylvania I'm either going up a hill or down one. The grades are hardly flat. Anyone that drives 81 north of Harrisburg or 78 between the 81-78 split and the New Jersey border know what i'm talking about.

Yes I was talking to you. My bad for not using the quote function. Really I don't feel that is terrible fuel economy considering how big and heavy 34s is.
