What Brand Brake Drums Do You Use?

Going to replace my rear brake drums and don't feel like spending $97/each for OEM. What brand is everyone running and how happy are you with them?

Oreilly was able to turn mine within spec with 200k on them. $12 a side.

I used the cheapest jobber I could find. Drum, shoes and spring kits.

They are working well above my expectation. The drums might rust faster with the cheap jobber brand though.

I use OEM Toyota drums.... With 180k miles on them and a wholleeee lotta life left.

I use Raybestos Professional brake components (rotors & pads, drums & shoes)purchased from Rockauto.com. Good quality and price but I always verify price on Amazon. FYI...Rockauto always has a 5% coupon code out there....Buckaroo

OEM only. on my 2nd set of drums from new 527,000 km (327,000 miles)
Changed them at 350,000 km

Unless someone stole them, why are you replacing the drums? The factory drums are very heavy duty. Take them to an auto parts store like carquest and have them turned on the lathe. They should never wear out with the little use they actually get. It will cost you about $15 each.

The plan is to have the drums turned, but just in case they are out of spec, I would like to have the parts to get the job done.

OEM.

Put my scuffing wheel in my drill, cleaned them up, painted them black. Done and done.

I'd stick with OEM, still have the originals on mine with 268k.
