What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

I just bought an 03 Sport 4X4 for 7,500 and it has 164,000 miles on it. I'm sure I overpaid :moping:. However were I'm located it was the best priced and in the condition I wanted (Only interior stains ect..)

Greetings all...

New to the forum here. Been lurking for a while.

I just got my 2007 SR5 with 77K for $16,900. It was a one owner, clean carfax vehicle.

I was thinking the miles were rather high for the price but after looking at all the other 4runners for sale (not too many under $20K with relatively low miles), I think I got a decent deal. (Although I still wonder if the mileage is too high...) My buddy laughs at me for thinking the mileage is high considering the reliability of 4runners and Toyota trucks in general.

I've had it for a month now and last week I got a Revtek 3/2 lift and Nitto Terra Grappler 285/75/17 tires put on. I blacked out the emblems this weekend and I'm getting Spidertrax spacers installed this week.

I got my 2004 in november for 13,000 with 109.000 miles. Best Suv i have ever owned! Sport v8 awd.
So far only things I have done are brand new brakes, rubber lines, and calipers all around, and a custom solo exhaust all stainless steel cat back. Oh and the new radio with blue tooth. This summer I plan on a lift kit, new head lights and marker lights.

Bought my first yesterday.. 2003 limited 104,000 miles, every service done to it at toyota with the history to prove it at exactly the right milage it was supposed to be done including timing belt and all flushes and a 1 owner car for $11,000. Body was in better shape then my 2008 subaru I got rid of..Had it inspected and it had a front passenger side axle leak they are fixing on it, they also gave me the chance to look under the 4runner while it was up on the lift to try and find anything wrong..

Last week paid 9,000 for 04 SR5 with V8, moonroof, new tires, remote starter, and 147K. Back at the used car dealer already for some type of unknown creaking noise and check engine light went on. Haven't had the chance yet to see if I really like it.

After looking for 2 months. I bought a 2004 limited 4x4 v6 with tow package, 119,xxx miles for $9800 from a private owner. I got it checked out at 2 shops and nothing wrong. Woohoo!! arty: Some minor scratches but no accidents and was not used to tow ever.

This thread is awesome. Seeing what others paid really helped me to know what I should be paying.

Even if the dreadful transfer case actuator starts leaking :crybaby:in the next 0-40,000 miles, I think I still made out pretty good.

Now which national park to visit first.

My memory is evidently getting bad. I bought my 4x4 V8 T4R SR5 from a dealer. It was a garaged, one-owner trade so I paid more than others I was looking at then. It had just come in on trade and was an adult female driver. The paint and interior looked pristine without being detailed yet. So I figured I'd take a look since I had been looking/driving for a few weeks. I drove it and was sold. I believe I paid (in 2010) around $19,500 or right under $20,000 for a 2005 V8 with 59,000 miles or so. It has a sunroof and the nice stereo....still pretty basic. No idea what it is worth now. Similar vehicles were around $18K at the time but most were two-owner and did not look garaged and pristine like this one did- even after they had been detailed. So I took it without being detailed because I figured all they would do is throw on some silicone, scent, and Armor All, and also scratch things up.

2006 SR5 V8 with 73k miles - had tow package (not sure if that's standard) and was a BREEZE to have the brake controller installed, which I thought was awesome since it was all wired up and ready to go, complete with 7 pin connector.

$17,000 before TTL

$18,350 out the door.

Not a screaming deal, but not bad either from the research I did, especially since I didn't have to fly to Ohio like I did for my last car.

Certified used according to edmunds is around $17k so you made out decent

I picked up my 05 limited fully loaded with 70,000 kilometers almost 4 years ago for $32K - I'm only using it as a toy, in the moutains and at the beach and have just now gone over 116000 kilometers.
