This was here in Portland at Northwest Armory. You know what's sad though? I don't even own an AR
Yet...Still, I couldn't pass up mags at that price. I'm just having trouble deciding if I want to buy a carbine or build my own.

Buy a built BCM upper and put together your own lower.

I've heard good things about BCM. That's probably the route I'll go unless I get the Colt LE6920 or a Noveske carbine.

Long story short, I picked up a Surco roof rack for my new-to-me '05 Sport. My wife HATES it (she hated it on my 3rd gen as we'll). I got a free Gold Diehard battery from Sears.
I was going to make a grocery run and the Runner would not start. Tried to jump it from the wife's Tacoma and no go. Took the battery down to Sears and they tested it. It was bad and I got a brand new one via the warranty.
I hope this one lasts. I never had a Sears battery die so soon (2 years).

Got my GF a really nice wetsuit. It's a Rip Curl Flash Bomb 5/4. Normally $440, got it for $350. I have the same suit and it's an INSANE wetsuit. Supposedly this updated version is both stretchier and warmer while being slightly lighter.
Bought myself a heated vest for super cold water surfing (some spots around here are on the mouths of some glacier rivers). Retails for $299, was on sale for $190 but got an additional 20% off and paid $150 for it. Black Friday sale wasn't supposed to apply to items already on sale, so not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining!
Also got a set of nice 7mm booties and a 2mm shorty wetsuit. Both for around $50.
Lastly bought a 3/2 summer suit for $150.
On a more boring note, I bought some new exterior lights. Normally $85, got them for $57 a piece.

60's high 50's is the absolute coldest it gets

It really all depends on the swell. There was a week this summer where it was in the upper 50's one day and a few days later it was right around 50. In the winter it can drop to the mid to upper 40's. And like I said, there are some breaks on the mouths of rivers where the water is glacier runoff, so it's FRIGID! Not to mention I'm like 0% body fat, so I already run cold.
