Replaced the fuel filter and mounted my new wheels. I quickly changed the obnoxious Level 8 center cap with something more fitting. Clearly I still have some tire prep to do.

Dont have my post count high enough, and I apologize, but I'm in a huge pickle. Took the Runner off road this weekend with the wife and kid, and a large-ish piece of wood lodged itself in between the lower belly pan and the radiator piercing the radiator which dumped majority of my coolant.

Although my temp gauge didn't go up, there was this slight knocking sound like a rod knock once I got home, only rev'ing it up under small load made the noise. Giving it full gas made no noise. The trail is literally around the block from me. So I dumped some coolant I had in it and it came rushing out pretty wuick(non running engine). I attempted to get it started and up the drive, but it died on me twice and then once started I rev'ed it up and pulled it into the garage.

Anyways long story short, is there an eBay or Amazon link for a stock radiator or aftermarket that's better?? 'Maybe thicker/better flow then stick but still retains same mounting points?
Any help would be great. Like I said I apologize for not having my post count up but I'm trying!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, not sure why it wouldn't start. Is the knocking coming from the lower end? Or from the valve train? Could also be a cracked flex plate, that may be why it wouldn't start. I encourage you to do a lot of searching about the noise, tons of thread on these trucks making odd sounds.

As for the rad here's an Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Denso-221-0508-Radiator/dp/B0096B9PC8

And switched out the wood trim for a black. Just need to source out the rest of the switch in black.

As well as installed miscellaneous clips that were missing.

Pretty happy with the outcome of the visors

Changed my spark plugs, which they almost look like the original factory plugs if they weren't all NGKs. I can tell by the Seat of the Pants dyno I gained some HP and smoothness.

Also tried a quality of life adjustment. I removed the passenger side swaybar link. After the lift my truck was really rough, like snap your neck rough especially going in and out of driveways. When i first put the lift in, I took out the rear swaybar, and that made driving a chore due to all the body roll. Always felt like the rear was going to kick out on me. With the front disconnected, its a completely different story. Yes, there is more body roll around sharp higher speed corners, but the bumps are just soaked up. The rear is still a bit waggy, but thats the next item on my list.(i don't have an adjustable panhard bar or emkeiths brackets)

I don't see any harm in leaving the driver side connected with the passenger side removed right now (please tell me if thats a bad idea) until the weather gets better.

Finally got my roof rack build to the point where I could mount it and leave it mounted. This week I will finish the cross bars and then mount my RTT finally. Then camping!

Ashtray fix!

glued magnets to the back of my ashtray so in the last quarter inch of closing it snaps shut and STAYS!!! I bought a 3 pack of round magnets from Oreillys and glued one to the ashtray and one in the corresponding spot behind the ashtray. They were perfect thickness so that fully closed the magnets don't actually touch :)

Just realize in an emergency maneuver the vehicle will not respond to steering corrections very well.

Will be driveable since the majority of the sway bars stored energy is gone since one side is detached.

In case you ever wanted to know.....3 shipping barrels will fit perfectly in the back of the 4runner. No squeezing, shoving or slamming of the door to make it happen. In hindsight I wish I loaded the blue one 2nd since it is smaller than the other 2 barrels. Otherwise I'm pretty happy how things turned out. This Will cut down on my trips to move all my junk.

Sunday i went to Columbus flea market. Then after that i took a ride to PA along Delaware River and unbeknownst to me I ended up at Washington Cross State Forest. So I went to the PA side, originally going to New Hope Flea Market. Which ended up being closed. But made the best of the day. PA is beautiful. And then on the way back to NJ i drove all the way along the river till the very end. Beautiful homes, landscape and very relaxing.

Washington Cross park, PA side.

Then we went to Bowman's Hill Tower. On a good day you can see 15 miles 360. And Sunday was beautiful day! I'm sure in summer its more greener lol.

view form the top of the tower

At the flea market i picked up this husky organizer for $8. So i put it behind the rear seat. Put a d-shackle in there for quick access, snatch block, few other things.

Shredded my a/c belt the other day so I went ahead and changed them all out. That power steering adjuster bolt is a pain to deal with. I would absolutely avoid messing with it unless you have flex-head gear wrenches. Either the engineer who designed it has baby hands or I'm just some knuckle-dragging brute.

A/c belt split.

$50.05 for all three OEM belts out the the door from one of the area Toyota dealerships.

New belts

ABSOLUTELY! Of everything I did this weekend on mine, that was the biggest PITA! Right thumb putting pressure on the box-end and the left hand making little micro adjustments. The Guinness afterwards made everything feel better.
