Not just today... I've been working on the truck for the past couple weeks.
Had leaking cam seals for a while so I decided to do the timing belt and water pump while I was in there that far.
While it was apart I decided to add a little custom touch to the valve covers and the intake manifold. I used VHT Wrinkle finish on top of some self-etching primer and I think it turned out awesome myself.

In other news... I finally got rid of the P.O.S. Revtek spacers on crappy shocks in the front in favor of some Eibach/Toytec 3"coils on the Bilstein 5100's and I have to say it is AWESOME!!!!!! I never imagined it would ride as nice as it does now!

What do you guys think?

Hilux Snorkel

I thought the hilux snorkels went on the left side? Where did you get this one?

I thought about trying a 60 series landcruiser as the cheap ones on ebay can be had for about 150.

in hilux the air intake in 1-kzt are the right side and the motor 1-kztE in on the left side

Cades Cove, The Dragon, Fontana Dam

Hit Cades Cove, then some light off roading on Pearson that cuts from Cades Cove over to US129. Then we drove The Dragon into North Carolina, hit 28 over to Fontana Dam. After a bit of a break at the dam we drove The Dragon back into Tennessee and home with a short stop at Outback for a steak and beer. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I also just bought 4 of these panels. These things are awesome and cheap. I put a set in my 4runner and a set in my corolla. I love the amount of light these things put out. The shipping time wasn't too bad either coming from China.

Haven't done much to the 4Runner lately.... but been driving it back and forth to work! Got 3 compliments about the 4Runner yesterday during the first 2 hours of having it parked behind my office! lol!
