In all seriousness, I bought this before Toyota discontinues it much like they did with the Sport Edition emblems that I wanted

So far, I have a 4.30 e-locker and the axle housing, switch and now this decal. Just need to decide if I want to stick with the 4.30 and find the matching front 4.30 diff or hunt down a 4.10 locker.

I’ be interested to see what it says for ya Mike. What is the turnaround time or do you know?

Mine was mailed on 4/3/16 and the results showed up on 4/12/16, if that helps. It caught my failing aged TruFlow air filter.

That is a quick turnaround. I have to ask if they detected any abnormalities?

The one on my wrecked 4runner separated. The one on my replacement box I got from the wrecker today also separated . Most of the ones at the wreckers were separated. Welcome to the party.

I should say from the time I mailed it to them, not including the time it took for them to mail the kit to me. IIRC that didn't take long either.

A little extra aluminum and silicates, suggested extra dirt and that I check the intake. I later figured out it was the TruFlow degrading after 10 years....so no complaint on longevity and it did a great job for most of those years.
I'm back to paper filters for now.

I adhered the 3' LED strip to the underside of the hood. Now to decide if I use the illuminating switch which I already have, or buy a pin switch so the lights automatically turn on/off

Pin switch is much less wiring, but I have to buy it.
Illuminating switch is 3 prong, but I have it.

I also really need a fuse box in a bad way. my positive terminal is getting crowded. and my one grounding bolt is getting full: Big 3, projectors, and horns.

so I'm looking for a solution to stop my wheels rubbing against my UCA's.
currently running a 3" lift with 285s and have looked into either spacers or a wheel with negative offset... any input as to the best way to solve this?

This is perfect timing, I am right in the midst of pondering underhood lighting. What LED did you use?

My thinking is that I want a manual on/off switch for two reasons - a) I would not have to worry if the lights stayed on after closing the hood (the refrigerator light syndrome), and b) I will only want the light to come on when I need it, not every time I open the hood.

For the manual switch, you only need to use two wires to make it work - hot and ground. The third is only needed if you want the switch to be illuminated.

I also really need a fuse box in a bad way. my positive terminal is getting crowded. and my one grounding bolt is getting full: Big 3, projectors, and horns.

I added a fuse box to the passenger compartment, it's a decent amount of work and money. If you just need a few extra fuses, you can do what I did today (what timing!), populate the empty slots in your '96's fuse box. Less work and expense, and cleaner looking in the end (see last post):

See im leaning against the manual switch for one big reason: If I forget to turn the LED off, then its on until I remember to turn it off. I know its not much power drain, but still. the benefit of the illuminating manual switch is a big red LED telling you the light is still on.

I just read your thread! and I like the idea of keeping the OEM wiring separate from the aftermarket stuff. The Blue Sea fuse box is nice, I really don't know what else I will be adding, that's the big problem. I do see a winch in my future, but that will have its own dedicated wiring system.

The Blue Seas relay boxes are well thought of by sailors.

Trying to fixing my weather stripping on my 02. Does anyone know if the weather stripping on a 98 will fit on an 02? The junk yard down the road just got one in great shape (interior wise) and I want to snag it before it’s gone.
