Took running boards off. Looks so much better. Pictures doesn't do this justice. You have to take them off on yours to really see the difference. Only takes about 20 minutes.

Installed a new dash camera... This one is much easier to use and has good instructions, and gps. I think the camera itself is still the same but I can make the loop function work on this camera and set the time and date, as well as put a driver ID in the video(I'm using my license plate as the driver ID)

Made mine with a 8 ft piece of 1 1/4" (i think) aluminum corner thing... cut them into sections, bolted them together and then used the u bolts that came with the rack mounts to hold it down. Its at the perfect height, but it's not easy to take off. thus the reason I haven't painted that aluminum...

From all I've read, doing this mod in conjunction with the ISR and/or elbow removal provides noticeable gains. I liked this post with actual dyno tests:

With just the deck plate so far, it has seemed to improve throttle response a bit. I'm not having to step on the gas as much and when I mashed it on the highway it felt a little more "peppy."
As I said I do need a new air filter and am doing the ISR, so hopes are it will be even better.
But at $6 for the plate and $3 for the silicone it isn't expensive to do and takes very little time and labor. So why not?

Retrofitted fxr-3.0 3" in one day. Damn these things are so much better than the plug and play kit I had, although the pnp kit was only 45 bucks and I ended up using the ballasts and harness from the pnp kit which reduced the cost to only 220 with 50 watt bulbs and ballasts. I got some bmw x5 2014 led fog lights as well but the bumper will need to be modified to fit them, they are super wide and bright though!

I have not decided yet, this is my first attempt at polishing aluminum and I still have a good ways to go. This is a spare intake and set of valve covers my buddy [MENTION=95312]BIGJAMESCRU[/MENTION] lent me.

You would need find a clear sealant paint that will stick to bare metal without a base primer and will not turn brown at 400 F.
If you pull it off I bet it will look badass.

Yesterday the 4runner started running like crap. No power or acceleration. After some research, I found it was a bad trans solenoid. Starts in 3rd gear and shifts into o.d. Today I dropped the pan, pulled the filter and tested both the solenoids. Replaced the bad one and it runs great again.
