New parts because of this.

Ordered these yesterday go Amazon prime. Butthis is the reason I need them. Installed new sway at bracket bushingson the bar and end links ran out of daylight to take pics. Removed drive shift and lubed slip yoke splines with the Ford blue stuff.

I actually drove my runner to work for the first time in like a year and a half. Remembered that I hate the Goodyear floor mats and that the rotors are warped. Now I am going to go read up on the Tundra brake upgrade.

Installed an amp under my back seat took out the jack
and cut away the metal.

Got any other pictures of your install? I wanna do this in the near future and wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of how someone else did it first

Any issues with heat on that amp install? I know my Alpine PDX amps run pretty cool, but it's in open air. Amplifier's in the past certainly ran hotter (haven't used RF ever). Otherwise, cool install, I'm all about hidden system's with *******'s who steal things in sight.

Today I cleaned inside all my windows/windshield. First time I have done it in my 6 months or so of ownership. Surprising how much stuff came off that glass. I also installed my Satoshi grill. I'll add a pic later on once I clean up the garage.

Changed my manual transmission fluid from Redline GL4 to Amsoil Severe Gear, blend of 75W90 and 75W110 GL5 and so far even smoother IMO! Replaced my PVC valve and grommet, was a piece of cake to get the grommet out and switched from my winter Hankooks to new shoes, Kumho Road Venture AT51 265/75R16s. Now to really give the undercarriage a good few washes to get most of the brine off. Ohh, and passed emission...:roadkill:

I put redline in my last 4Runner and I have to agree it was not the improvement I was expecting changing out the factory oil which had 165k on it. I felt as though it was a little crunchy and less smooth especially when cold, I had used redline oils on other cars with great results (and they are local to me) but I was not impressed with it in the 4Runner.

I took my stock roof rack off. My stock bent up front bumper and rusted out tear bumper are off too. Yesterday after work i picked up 1/8' plate steel to build my new bumpers

Had the flanges machined on my headers prior to install. Installed them on the engine while on the stand prior to dropping it in this weekend I hope. Just 2 more seals to install and I can drop it in.

Which Redline fluid specifically are you guys using? I did some reading when I first got mine, and chose the MT90 fluid after some quick research. It worked great for my truck. Shifts good cold/hot for me.

Called around for people to rebuild my front and rear diffs..

Off the truck, me supplying all parts I was quoted £450 pls tax each..

That's US $775 per diff!!! :der:

Their attitude really sucked and they had told me "It's not economically viable" before even giving me the price... I also had to chase them twice as they didn't get back to me for weeks.

I think they think I'm just rebuilding tired out ones on an old knackered truck.. and they just quoted me to make me go away.

Shame as they are a transmission specialist only 6 miles away from home.

Waiting for another quote from another axle specialist who seemed more interested when I spoke to him.

Surprisingly no, at first I was a little worried about it but after hours of loud music and a lot of bass it stays cool to the point where I don't have a worry in the world
Also I don't have any other pictures of the install but it was fairly easy took a sawza to cut the pieces of metal out and then took pliers to bend back and forth to "snap" the metal off and the orange mat you see in the picture is hardwood floor insulation just to keep it from rattling and is drilled into the floor with the supplied bolts for the amp.

Finished up my TBU today, got the brakes bled, and changed out the DOT 3 for Lucas Oil DOT 4.

I can officially confirm, I don't know if its in the TBU informational thread, that the SR8 wheels will fit over the 13WL.

Oh, and finally got around to putting on the antenna mount from [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION]

Wrapping up 2 mods in one day makes me feel good. Now just to order my Odyssey(not sure if this is spelled right) battery.:banana:

I replaced the front shocks and springs with some lower end set up units from Amazon. I also did the rear shocks and springs. With 175K on my 2000, it made an immense difference. Going to do rack bushings over the weekend.

Made it so I can open the rear hatch from the inside! Now I just need to get the sleeping/storage figured out. More on that to come. Can't wait for the summer!

o2 Simulator

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. This past weekend I came across the o2 simulator thread and decided to give it a try. I soldered in the resistor and capacitor and was able to get that pesky cel light off. I have every intention to fix the actual problem, I just got sick of seeing that light on. This will hold me over until I can get it fixed. There's a ton of awesome information on here!
