Installed new steering rack bushings today. Last week installed new OME on all 4 corners, little bit of rake. Pending replacement of right front wheel bearing and alignment. :bluejump:

What a day! First a little background, for the past week or so the 4runner had been running kinda rough, when I would first start it, it would idle at about 400rpm and act like it was going to die. When you gave it some gas it was just fine. Well today, I was coming off the freeway and it died completely, I got it restarted, and kinda gunned it to keep it running, but when I got to the light it died again. It took two tries to get it fired up again, so this time I had to two foot drive it all the way into work so the rpms didn't drop. I talked to a couple co workers and they suggested vaccine lines and Maf censer.I had wanted to clean the throttle body out before, but I never got arround to it. Sure enough I took off the intake tube and the TB was filthy, luckily my shop had some carb cleaner so I cleaned it out and it runs like a champ!

Later, my dad was backing it into the garage so he could jump start another car (an entirely different story) and hit the roof rack on the garage door. The whole rack came foreward about a foot and the end caps went shooting off. So now I need to go to the junkyard and find new ones AGAIN!

Cut the ends of my new BAMF sliders Replated the ends and welded it up. Shouldn't rub anymore. Also cranked my SAW's up some more, I think it's sitting closer to level now.

Tightened my 5125s up, and tried to figure out what the rattle/ticking noise was coming from underneath the front of the truck while the truck is running. Thumped my front skids hard on a rock awhile back and it started after that. Thought I bent or loosened the plate, so I took it off and the rattle/ticking remains. Upon further investigation, I think it may be coming from the cat. It's not the cover, I think the cat may just be rotting out. Any thoughts? Maybe time for new TRD headers.

Ordered a Husky cargo liner and received floor liners instead. Returned them and decided to order a full set of WeatherTech DigitalFit floor liners and cargo liner

Finally got my new tires installed. I went from 30x9.5 BFG AT's to 31x10.5 Federal Couragia MT's which I got for a steal off of Craigslist. 31's look so much better on stock 4runners than 30's IMO.
