Not exactly today but over the last 3 weeks...
Bought it (2001 t4r sr5):
Lifted it with the toytec ultimate lift kit and put on some 255 85 r16 BFG KM2's:
sittin next to my 99 Tacoma:
Still have more planned for it such as rock sliders which have been ordered just waiting for them to come in and lighting. My wife and I bought the runner to replace her car and we plan on using it to do some camping and wheeling as well. Maybe one day she will let me drive it lol!

Almost blew it up!! :gun5: :brick:
Changed front; rear,and center diffs with mobil1. Also sucked and filled brake fluid. Also changed the OEM fog light bulb to 100w yellow.
I was gonna change the trans fluid. But was too lazy to pick up another gallon of atf fluid. For some reason. I always think a gallon equals 5 quarts. And I bought 3 gallons. Getting it mixed up with the 5 gallon gas jug in the army.
Crazy how my brain works as I get older. :\
For the most part. Looks like the last owner changed the diff fluid not too long ago. Along with the intermediate shaft on front Axel and pwr steering rack. No wonder why I decided to keep this truck. There was just already a lot of work done prior to me.

A couple of small updates in the last few weeks (sorry I didn't do it all in one day)
Here's a few pictures with more detail in my thread of course.
1. Re-installed new non-skid but this time only 1" not 2"
The original 2" non-skid really really cut up my leg, my GFs leg, my friends legs etc.
The only reason I think this warning is worthy of mentioning is that several other members have used the 2" non-skid and I followed them. It was cool but you can get the same effect with 1" and skip out on the abrasions.
I had a hard time finding 1" so I just cut the 2" in half using a good pair of metal shears.
2. Re-Aligned my Projectors | Everything is good now
3. Created my own Optima battery adapter / battery spacer
Its for my Optima Yellow Top. I mentioned this issue before but in short my Optima kept coming loose when out on the trail. I didn't want to spend the cash for a battery box and I can't weld so this was my simple solution. Its pretty tight and I think it will last as long as the truck.
4. Installed new Lotus LCA Skids

Changed the rear u-joint with jmildoc's help. Took us about an hour without a press or vice. Just propped it up on a couple pieces of wood.
Vibration and scraping sound are now gone...easy, cheap, and well worth it. Stock one was pretty worn, but thats expected at 190K!

Took it out to test the new suspension and tires. Have a little trimming to do but other than that it did great! Cant wait to get it out on some trails.
