Didn't pull the liner down. Just mounted it in between the 2 round plastic fastener clip things. That's where the cross support should be. At least that's what I remember from pulling down the headliner a while back.

Muuuuch stiffer. You would probably want quick-disconnect end links no matter what you go with.

Put on a set of 2012 Tacoma TRD 16" Alloys with 265/70/16 BF Goodrich Rugged Trails. Nice improvement from the stock 235/55/15 and only cost me $350 before selling my old set.

Actually last Saturday, but didn't get around to posting.

Replaced a rear inner axle seal. The bearing seemed to be alright, so I guess I'll find out before too long. Probably should have replaced pads while I was in there as it was pretty gunked up, but didn't have parts with me.

Replaced parking brake cables.

Of course my solenoids showed up in the mail on Monday (the truck is currently at my brothers place in another city).

Still need to do CV boots (not particularly looking forward to it...)

Went to a friend's for the holiday weekend.
Neither of my jacks worked with the new 16" stock wheels and tires I had installed Friday, so no brakework got done. :-(

I did get in a drain and refill on the transfer case and rear diff. Nasty, dark, smelly oil in this new-to-me 2000 SR5 at 236,000 miles.

What's the advantage to them?

Advantage is better cornering when the road is dry and your tires have traction. I wheeled with addco rear sway bar before and finally broke off the brackets at Hollister this March. I have since put back my oem sway bar and brackets. I got some Mstudt sway bar disconnects as well. If you wheel, don't get addco sway bar because it limits your wheel travel. If you decide to get it, make sure you get disconnects so you can disconnect those sway bars.

Installed front and rear ADDCO sway bars, Mstudt sway bar links, and a new factory IAC/gasket. Took her for a drive and she drove great. I might even drive her to work tomorrow!

Bought my 3rd gen 3 weeks ago and today was the day she got jacked up...installed my new OME 3" lift this weekend and finished it up this morning! Now it's time for bigger rubber...thinkin' bout 265/75's, but 285's would sure look nice...

Front end work

I installed new pads and rotors, new sway bar bushing brackets/bushings, and new sway bar control ends. Going to burn in those pads later this morning.
