What Xetabur said! Useful insurance on our trips. My ACR (Blue Sea 7622) doesn't allow the house battery to drain the start battery, and will also allow the house battery to 'jump' the start battery in case the start battery, well, won't.
Currently (ha) I don't have much running on the house battery (lights, extra horns, cb, more lights, stuff like that) but later power draining additions are in the long term forecast.

Instead of the work and expense of a second battery some people have a battery pack. It doesn't fit my wants and needs, but it works for many.

Yep. My coolant tank is now a bike bottle in a bottle cage bolted to the side of the air box. The ACRelay is in its place and I fabbed a bracket to put it there. I had to remove one leg on the fuse box, part of the fan cowl, bend the inner fender for more flat-ish space (which is prolly what caused the need for the inner fender crack repair), put in a negative bus underneath the box, bolt in the box itself, add the extra battery cables, fabbed a holder for my aux fuse block and relays, put the switch for it in the dash, wire a voltmeter with a switch (mostly for my own piece of mind) to be able to monitor both batteries, and install and wire the switch for the ACR.

Later will come Anderson connectors at the front and rear bumpers, and the cable needed to run them.

There are other ways to do this that do not require the dual box. The air box is sitting on a spot a battery can go. I've seen someone put them underneath the truck. People have wired them up different ways using different methods too. Your imagination and research required.

So now that the deal is a little more solidified (bought a plane ticket) I figured I could post my next venture.

I have been looking for a rust free low milage 3rd gen for a while now that I can swap all of my stuff over too and this beauty came up on my cars.com email alert.

It is (as far as I can tell from the listed options) a SR5 with the "Extra Value Package #5" (locking rear diff) , "Leather Trim Package", "Color-coordinated fender flares", 5 Speed Manual transmission, and to top it all off a second Gen TRD supercharger! The truck has about 81k on the clock and has no rust. :hurt:

I removed the 4runner springs on 5100's i was running and installed toytec/eibach 620lb front springs and ome 890's in the back this weekend made for a good fathers day ! Happy Day to all you Dad's out there ...

It only took me a couple hours by myself to do it. I have done body lifts before on fullsize trucks and SUVs (I'm a Chevy guy at heart), but this was my first time on a Toyota.
