Got out on the trails for the first time since I bought it. Got to test out the Savage skids and 4x sliders. I definitely need a lift. Ran into another IJM 4Runner going the opposite direction, no idea if they're on here.

I went up to Camp Dick/Bunce School trail and explored the camp sites I usually go to on Saturday afternoon. The sliders do have the kickout and RTI assembled, welded, and painted them for $300.

Took it to the beach and tried to help a 4runner out that was stuck, not just any runner but a 2014 trail edition 4runner. Damn idk what it is but my 3rd gen walks all over that beach while this truck just sank like a stone.

I saw a 5th gen here in the OBX get stuck in some sand as well (no pic though). When Toyota builds a SUV that is out to target soccer moms as potential buyers, stay off the beach with them. Looks like a transformer that washed up from Japan. Despite their apparent shortcomings, I still like them.

Servco has some sort of monopoly out in HI when it comes to selling Yotas.

Yep Hawaiians loves their toyotas, last year the Tacoma was the number one purchased vehicle through out the islands.
There was a time we pulled a hummer out the sand, and the guy was like man I should have gotten a Toyota

Picked up the 4R from Toyo Masters yesterday afternoon. Timing belt kit and RR seal/bearing all fixed, coolant flushed. Next up is an oil change and plugs.

Finished wiring my lights and mounting my switches last night with the help of my buddy. Amazed how bright the LED bar is!

[MENTION=88391]NateMob[/MENTION] , I built the rack myself. It's just uni-strut on the sides, with 3/4 square tube underneath to support the expanded metal. I was looking for a low profile rack myself and figured the best way to get what I wanted was to do it myself haha.

I used the thinner strut material to build mine but its basically the same idea. Having the multiple holes makes it very versatile when mounting attachments and the materials are readily available and relatively inexpensive.

However I made mine so low profile that I'm really limited to what I can attach to the side of the rack and it not touch my roof.
