Shrockworks bolt-on in 65", a tad longer than what is on their webpage, requested by me because of my skinny chrome trim.

Did an oil change for the first time since I installed the Savage skids, and found these:

They are the two bolts that sandwich the end of the front skid set to the front of the rear set. I've only gone 4 wheeling once with them on, and both bolts are wrecked. Looks like I'll be shooting him an email tomorrow.

Cool, it looks like you got try your new skids ! isn't this a proper application bolt doing what it is designed for. id be more pissed if they snapped off...

Busy/crappy day today. In the morning I had to replace my altenator in the parking lot of advanced auto parts (see build for full story) and I found out that my extened diff breather was acctualy funneling water right into my diff so I had to change the fluid. And while doing so almost completly stripped out my drain plug

You have the letter size I had in mind for my grille but I ended up with something.....bigger. If you squint just right you might be able to see it from your place.

We'll be on the Berryman for the OTA pre-mega and mega events later this summer. Doing some more much needed re-routing and maintaining.

I like the badge you have on your grille (the large one, that is ). It fills the space very well, proportionately. Where did you find it? I'd leave the letters white, btw, looks OEM.

Going to Pep Boys to exchange the new power steering belt they sold me,right length but one rib too wide :redbrick: Other than that my weekend of wrenching was a success,the new radiator and AC and alternator belts are in.

Installed a Thule rack. Went with the Podiums and standard load bars. I've also thought about picking up Thule Load Stops for the occasional trips to Lowes. Anyone have any experience with them? Seem pretty simple.

The husbandio surprised me with it, said it was off an FJ60 Land Cruiser. So far opinions are to keep the letters white and it is growing on me so that just might be the plan.

and yep, those would be the events I speak of. It's a good time building trails.

How did that happen? Mainly just worried because I don't want mine doing the same thing, lol.

Installed spidertrax 1 1/4" wheel spacers and a surco 45"x60" rack. Made my own low mounting brackets for the rack and put a floor in the front third to strap my jerry cans to.
