I would love to do the Big 3 eventually, definitely on the list! I've read a lot about the benefits....
I'm guessing 13.6v sucks right?

Well now that I see it was at 1000 RPM I'm not so concerned. I guess I would ask what is it at 2500 RPM.

Look at my build thread and look how the breather is alinged. If you go through the hole that is already there in the gas area it will pool water there and funnel it into the diff if your tube isn't high enough. The worst part is that I flooded it at the car wash, not on the trail :/

I'd be curious to know what it is after the 4runner has warmed up and is at idle. Anything under 13.4 may warrant the Big 3 upgrade as Brian said.

I ran my diff breather behind the gas fill gasket above the fill tube. I've not had any problems. It is hidden inside the gas fill tube cover and somewhat protected from the elements.

I'd Put it there, but it is exposed to what my tires kick up then. Where I have it now is probably best... Its on the upper left by the gas cap. Ill take pics later tonight.
Where is your black cover that should be over you filler neck?

Alright cool, If i didn't want to make a cut in my gas filler gasket I would have put it there, but at the time I was tired and it was the easiest route to go.
Thanks. I'm pretty sure I mounted mine on the top side of the fuel filler but will check when I get home.
So your build thread makes me feel terrible for not having done much to mine other than a few minor livability mods and easy/time killers. I've had mine for over a year and haven't done much at all compared to your couple months....I guess buying/remodeling a house and a wedding will do that to you. Hopefully this upcoming year I'll be able to get somewhere and use it for something other than hauling shit and the occasional camping or FSR road.

Don't feel bad, I have nothing but time on my hands, because my better half has been gone for the last couple months at a research project. This is pretty much all I do other than work and photography
The fun thing though was transfering all my mods from the previous truck to the new one all in one weekend. :boom:

I originally did too but it got gunked up and clogged over a long period of time. My bad though, I hadn't paid any attention to it. Had I simply pulled it and cleaned it every once in awhile it might've been fine. My response was to go ahead and stick it through the filler gasket, though I've got a bit of hose poking through too- and higher up the gasket. It's staying much cleaner there.
Again, just occasionally clean it if needed and it should be fine.

Removed my running boards, looks much better. Now I'm going to fab up some sliders and light bar soon.
