Just received my new Stellar Blue Sport grille. I'll clean it up and install it after work tonight. I got lucky, because my new Sport grille is in excellent condition.

Got my front brakes changged, took longer then expected due to auto parts store giving me the wrong rotors. Also did the deck plate mod.

Wow, seat heaters.....must be lovely in the winter!. What do i have to do if I have cloth seats? pick up a pair of leather seats?

I have used the seat heaters 3 times this week here in Ohio! They are wonderful! Its just a $60 ebay kit...you can install in cloth seats just the same. Very simple wiring but a tad more involved to get the heaters inside the seats.

Would I have to get them re-upholstered? Well I guess what I am asking would the foam being 15 years old fall apart when I take the seat apart? I will probably just get them done for a clean finish. I will post pics of the new tint. Its raining here and cloudy so its just not a good time for pics.

I only got a tiny bit of foam crumble from my 220k mile seats when i pulled covers up. You can pull back the covers partially and slide the heater pads in. On the bottom of the seat you will have to cut the hold down fabric across the center to allow the heater pad to slide all the way to the front.

I don't even have that. I have to fight for a parking spot or pay an additional $75 to get a spot in the garage:fencing:

Luckily, I take the bus to work everyday so once I find a spot I'm there all week:couch2: There's about 25 unpaid spots in a building with about 200 apartments. Crazy!!

...but I digress. Been working on getting my towing stuff up to snuff. Got the class III tongue and ball at HF and now trying to figure out the wiring. It's got the tow package, but there's not a fuse in the engine bay for where the towing would normally be. By that I mean there's a spot for it, but it is empty of the needed connections so putting a fuse there is pointless. I've got the flat 4 connector/wires coming out the back, but I'm going to have to pull the rear panel to see what it's all hooked up to.

FINALLY managed to fix my liftgate. When I bought the rig, it didn't open (I posted all about it in another thread). I tore into it a month or two ago and wasn't able to make it work. Well I took another crack at it tonight. Drowned the latch and cable in WD40. I also drill a self tapping screw into the tab of the metal part of the latch at the handle to give a little extra travel since I'm pretty sure the latch cable is stretched a little from the years of use. Anywho, after fiddling for like an hour, working the lube into the latch (and dripping dirty gunk all over my face), i put everything back together and it works beautifully now.

I'm so stoked.

It's a good feeling to fix something and finally be able to use the cargo area (without having to go through the window all the time).
